The Center for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI) made public at the end of 2023 the final resolution of 'Chip Missions' aid program aimed at developing the design ecosystem and promoting collaboration between companies in the sector, which are part of the strategic project for microelectronics and semiconductors (PERTE Chip) .
The evaluation committee resolved to grant €50.4 million in aid to 15 business projects, aimed at promoting various lines of action such as photonics, alternative RISC-V architecture and chip assembly. These resources will facilitate the development of initiatives involving 65 national companies.
